By My Spirit says the LORD

“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
Says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 NKJV

The Spirit in me

17 The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV

Our Father God is on our side, doing in us what He needs to do.  He rejoices (dances) over us all with gladness, He quiets us in HIS LOVE, He rejoices over each of us with singing.  It is He who made us and not we ourselves; He is passionate about us and wants us to do well!  God made a covenant with Abram before Ishmael was born, promising that Abram & Sarai would have a son and their descendants would inherit the land and prosper.  Since God had no equal,  He took on both sides of the covenant in Genesis 15:

17  And it came to pass, when the sun went down and it was dark, that behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a burning torch that passed between those pieces. 18 On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram (NKJV)

We serve an amazing covenant making-covenant keeping God.  He is so much higher and mightier than any “god” we humans can dream up; not any that the devil’s minions can imitate.  Our Father God was not made by human hands, had no beginning, has no end, and loves His creation because we all came from Him. By His Spirit, He even speaks to us!

Louie Giglio in his Indescribable video series shares photos from NASA’s website that show the farthest reaches of space that our engineers have been able to capture so far.  In the deepest “tunnel” at the end of their current reach, you can make out a cross.  Is this visual from Father God showing the truth of the Scriptures that talk about Jesus Christ being “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world”? (Revelation 13:8b)

Our Heavenly Father knew ahead of time what His creation would need.  He always knew we couldn’t save ourselves; the Apostle Paul tells us in Romans 7 that the Torah (Law) of the Old Testament was our teacher to show us what God requires and clearly illustrate why we can’t attain righteousness through our human, religious efforts to follow the Law because if we err in even one point of the Law, we’ve broken the whole Law.  Hallelujah!  in His ultimate love, God prepared a way for our salvation before we even knew we needed it!  As the Israelites in the Old Testament won when they trusted God’s Spirit to lead them, after Christ was seated at His right hand (no longer needing Holy Spirit power for His walk on Earth), the Father sent the Holy Spirit down to Believers. When we accept the free gift of cleansing salvation from Jesus Christ, we then take on His righteousness to cover our “filthy rags” and accept the Holy Spirit into our lives to lead us into all truth.  As the Gospels say:  Come to Jesus as a little child; loving, trusting, joyfully following His lead.

I leave you with this prayer from the January 2018 Liferight of Watertown newsletter:

Lord, grant that I may never forget that                                                                                            I cannot take a breath,                                                                                                 nor blink an eye but for your grace.

God’s promise: Rainbow = Grace!

  1. Thank you for your Message and it is True our Abba Father knows everything from the beginning to the end and He Loved us so much that as you shared Jesus who being One with the Father and The Holy Ghost as Part of The Godhead or Trinity as we call Them today, came in the flesh to Redeem us.

Salvation is a free gift and yes it is also True that we will show we have it as the Scriptures below confirm and of course there are others if wanted. All Scripture fits together to form the Complete Picture which we see and Understand with God’s Wisdom (Proverbs4:7) and Spiritual eyes (1Corinthians 2:9-16 )

What do the Scriptures in their Completeness tell us about Sin and not keeping the Law, is it really OK to Sin and no longer keep God’s Commandments now that Jesus has set us free from the Law’s punishment for our past Sins.

Peter 2:24 Who His own self bare our Sins in His own body on the tree that we being dead to Sins should live unto Righteousness by whose stripes ye were healed.(KJV)

Romans 6 :1 -2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in Sin that Grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to Sin live any longer therein? . KJV

1 John 3:9 No one who is born of God will continue to Sin because God’s seed remains in him he cannot go on Sinning because he has been Born of God.. KJV

1 John 3: 1-11 ( 6-7 ) Whosoever abideth in Him Sinneth not: whosoever Sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him. Little Children let no Man deceive you he that doeth Righteousness is Righteous even as He is Righteous. KJV

Romans 2:7-9 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, Eternal Life: But unto them that are contentious and do not obey the Truth but obey Unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of Man that doeth evil of the Jew first and also of the Gentile;. KJV

1 John 2:4-6 He that saith I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments is a liar and the Truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth His word in him verily is the Love of God Perfected hereby know we that we are in Him. He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to Walk even as He walked.. KJV

Ephesians 4:23-24 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new Man which after God is created in Righteousness and True Holiness.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no Condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. KJV

    Christian Love and God’s Blessings,
    Anne (Grannie Annie)

  2. Sorry but for some reason a few of the Scriptures I shared in my first Comment are not there now (see below) but as I said there are others that also confirm God’s Truth and yes I have added a few more for you, that confirms very clearly that we do not go on Sinning when we are Born Again and Perfected in Love. I will do a Copy just in case it happens again.

Romans 3:31 Do we then make Void the Law through Faith? God forbid yea we establish the Law. KJV

Romans 8:4-6 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be Carnally minded is death; but to be Spiritually minded is Life and Peace. KJV

John 8:34-36 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth everyone who Sins is a slave to Sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free you will be free indeed.

Romans 6: 22-23 But now being made free from Sin and become servants to God, ye have your Fruit unto Holiness, and the end Everlasting Life. For the wages of Sin is death but the Gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:18-20 Being then made free from Sin ye became the servants of Righteousness

1 Peter 2:24 Who His own self bare our Sins in His own body on the tree that we being dead to Sins, should live unto Righteousness by whose stripes ye were healed.

Romans 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto Sin but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1John 5 18-20 We know that no one who is Born of God Sins; but He who was Born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him.

Daniel 12:10 Many shall be purified and made white and tried but the wicked shall do wickedly and none of the wicked shall Understand but the Wise shall Understand.

    Blessings – Anne.
