Ready to Roll?

We experienced gale force winds and weather on Tuesday evening. Many trees and branches were down and many people without power. We did not lose power, but our neighbors 1/4 mile from us, all the way to the lake, have not had power for two days. The only damage we had was a tree at the front of our property that fell in the yard, missing anything but grass. Also, we are supposed to be having a snowstorm today, but only spotty, light showers. The Lord is faithful to keep us in the storm, if we trust Him. In fact, Father allowed me to visit a couple people in need before the storm on Tuesday, and to go clean for Joe and get John’s milk at the farm before mixed precipitation and more wind started on Wednesday.

I am going through the files on my computer, preparing to work on my next book, and I found this day I’d recorded a couple years ago. It is so similar, although from December, I want to share it with you here. I think the conclusions I came to and exhortation at the end are still relevant for 2024!

From Tuesday, December 7, 2021: Sunday, about the time we went to bed, it started raining. It was very windy, and we heard a thousand people in the area lost power for about an hour in the middle of the night. The temperature hovered just above freezing, so we had no snow at our house.

When I awoke, it was still raining steadily and windy. I had an eye doctor appointment at 9:05, so John and I both packed up a traveling breakfast because he wanted to stop at the lab and get his fasting bloodwork done for his next appointment. He also planned to go home that way from my appointment so he could get a haircut. We left the house at 7:30, which should have been enough time to get across the city to my appointment. When John walked into the building for the lab, he found a line of people waiting. He realized he would not get done in time, so we headed right to the eye doctor’s office and sat in the parking lot to eat breakfast.

About fifteen minutes early, I headed through the rain from the parking lot to the appointment. The assistant and doctor kept me busy with multiple examinations and I lost track of time. When they finished, I had an excellent report, an appointment for eleven months later to repeat the vision field test, and another for twelve months to do the yearly testing. Heading back into the rain, I found my way to our vehicle. John had been sitting for over an hour and had a revelation: scrap plans for his haircut, head out of town the other way, deposit my check, eat at Cracker Barrel, and Christmas shop.

What grace Father God showered on us! We noticed the rain, but it didn’t hinder. John usually gets completely undone by the end of Christmas shopping, but his good mood hardly wavered. As we cruised several stores, he kept saying, “It’s alright, we’re not in a rush and I’m with my honey.” I want to remind you all, the Bible says, “He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it unto the day of Christ Jesus”. [Philippians 1:6]

As we pulled into the Walmart parking lot, we saw fleets of electrical bucket trucks amassed. John said National Grid was setting up to send them where needed because they expect many wire problems with the wind and rain; possibly turning into an ice storm. Our area previously dealt with a couple of major ice storms, and this shows they have learned from those experiences.

As in the natural realm, so in the spiritual, the saying goes. National Grid and our weather people are preparing for a major catastrophic event. The prophets have been speaking about a major event likely coming from the power grid being damaged. I believe the power of our spiritual enemies also has impending damage. Also, the rain and wind, which turned to sleet in the wee hours of the night, stopped after about twenty-four hours. I’m reminded that God promises in Psalms that weeping endures for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

The time is ripe for a move of God. Are you ready to roll with the punches and come out victorious? God’s plans are good, and this time of tribulation shall come to an end soon! We will see the victory if we do not faint before the end. I ask for and receive grace from Father God each day. It keeps me in His peace in Christ Jesus. [Philippians 4]

I hope you can grab on to His strong anchor and hold on. If your job is to be the “bucket trucks” with boots on the ground, step up to it. If your job is to be the one on your knees, drop down and pray in power. If it’s your part to write encouragement, then get to it. Man the positions God has planned for you since before you were born! We’re going to see the victory if we stand firm and do the good works before us.

Rejoice in the LORD always and be led by the Holy Spirit. Shalom, dear readers!

Joy and JOY?

I just watched the Elijah Clips episode of Amanda Grace that I posted below. On January 2nd, she said joy will be poured out on several places. She also said the Lord distinguished Joy from JOY! JOY stands for Justice Of Yahweh. God will be glorified, and his people will experience an outpouring of joy when Justice comes, and evil is vanquished. She said January has already been marked by a cat 7 quake in Japan.

How is the January fasting going? I’m glad you asked! We have at least one night a week set aside for a prayer meeting. Last night, I’m glad Pastor Josh reminded us at the prayer meeting that we may be getting a headache or light-headed the 4th day. I had forgotten and thought I might faint that morning at another meeting. I have decided not to eat dairy, wheat, or sugar. I am having a bowl of rice cereal with a serving of nuts, 1/2 cup of berries, and a cup of almond milk in the mornings so I can take my normal supplements. I do liquids, mostly water, until after 4 p.m. I’m honoring my husband by sharing dinner with him at that time.

In my devotions this week, I read the first chapters of Genesis, Matthew, Ezra, and Acts. This covered the creation of the earth out of a dark void, the genealogy of Jesus & announcement of His birth, a pagan king facilitated the end of 70 year’s captivity in Babylon and rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem. Acts detailed Jesus’s resurrection, 40 days on earth, his rising into the clouds, and the coming of the Holy Spirit.

All four of these beginnings show the faithfulness of God, His grace, and mercy for the creation He made. So many prophecies were fulfilled in each one of these eras. We are in a new Kingdom erea. We must trust that the LORD has our backs, and it’s a time to bring honor and glory to our Lord.

Here’s an excerpt from Rick Renner’s monthly teaching letter. He said this year will be a time of turbulance where everything that can be shaken will be shaken. He sresses that those who are staying in faith will thrive. Rick says:

The Holy Spirit specifically said that those who:
Stay in faith…
Stay in peace…
Stay in love…
Stay in fellowship…
Keep sowing seed for the sake of eternity…
Will experience a supernatural power that will cause them to be:
Unmoved…
Unshaken…
Well provided for…
And they will have a much-needed:
Divine assurance…
Divine peace…
Divine power…
Divine and supernatural victory

I’m reminded that during Covid, I was prospering with extra jobs and finances. I contributed to our church and several other ministries, and our family was well provided for. Our church finances burgeoned, and a lot of ministry happened, despite all the craziness of that time.

Other prophets I have listened to said believers will be kept in a place of safety, as Psalm 91 describes. Don’t forget the Lord’s promises in Psalm 23 as well. Stick with the encouragement from Rick Renner’s prophecy. You can watch Rick teaching on this and also find the full teaching letter at:

Shalom to you all as we walk in faith and victory. May the love of God enfold you and the Spirit reassure you that all is well. Keep walking in step with the Spirit and loving God and those He puts in your life.

Success in Fits ‘n Starts & Emmanuel

I think we finally won the battle! After about a month of fits’n starts and my husband John coming to the rescue, my book is officially LIVE on Amazon. You can find the SECOND second printing in hardcover, paperback, and Kindle versions. The audiobook, read by me, is waiting for final quality checks, and then it will also be available on Amazon and ACX.

I hope this photo got your attention! Musings Along Life’s Journey Kindle version will be on a promotional sale from January 17th to 24th, 2024. The price will begin at $0.99, rise to $1.99, $2.99, then revert to the original $8.95. Thank you to all who have blessed me by buying the original version of my book. That money helped pay for the $1,200.00 for Dave Ficere to facilitate my audiobook creation.

Emmanuel, God with us! Let’s contemplate what that means. I will draw on Pastor Paul Gimtter’s sermon at ACF Church this morning. In the first chapter of the book of Matthew, we have the genealogy of Joseph and of Mary, proving they came from the line of David, tribe of Judah. As an aside, my elderly cousin told me our family believes we also came from David’s tribe.

God wanted to be with us so desperately that He reduced Himself to be placed in a human egg in Mary’s womb. Angel activity ministered well in the events pertaining to God becoming a man, Emmanuel.

Pastor Paul related it to a dirty, stinky diaper on a baby. Jesus, fully man and fully God, stepped into the dark, foul mess that mankind made. He came so we never haft to walk alone. Pastor Paul read Psalm 139 to reinforce the fact that there is no place we can go that He is not there.

Think of the deepest hole you have fallen into, the darkest night you’ve been in. He was there with you! He has never turned His back on you. Jesus did not come to condemn us in our sins and sorrows, but to save us. Ask the Holy Spirit to take you into the pains and hurts. Let Him show you where He was. Let God’s loving kindness turn those graves into gardens, your mourning into dancing. Jesus came to show us how much the Father loves us. Even the woman at the well, His messed up disciples… so many examples of the Father’s love and mercy through all generations!

Romans 8:38-39 AMPC
For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, [39] Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I’d like to share one more piece of the Christmas story we don’t usually ponder. Bethlehem of Judea is where the shepherds raised the Passover lambs for the temple sacrifice. The lambs without blemish were chosen, then wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger to keep them clean and unblemished. Sound familiar?

Luke 2:6-7 ASV
And it came to pass, while they were there, the days were fulfilled that she should be delivered. [7] And she brought forth her firstborn son; and she wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Revelation 13:8 KJ21
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world.

Oh, how wonderful! Oh, how marvelous is my Savior’s love for me! I hope you experience a new dose of the great love of Emmanuel, God with YOU this Christmas season.

Shalom, dear readers!

I Stand At The Door…

Repeated references to this scripture recently  gave me pause. Let’s look at it.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Usually, this verse is used to call sinners to salvation, but is that what Jesus was saying? Let’s look at the verses around this one.

Revelation 3:15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth

The worst thing we can be as a Christian is Luke warm. Vomit is one of the strongest words Jesus uses!

17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

We need to ask the Spirit to search our inmost being, the depth of our soul. We need the refined gold and white garments, the salve to anoint our eyes. Search me, oh God, and know my heart… I need a true understanding of who I really am in Christ.

19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

Be thankful and desire the searching and chastening of the Spirit of the Lord. Repent, turn back to your loving Father. Realize the price Jesus paid to blot out our sins and heal us.

20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Let us come back, invite our Savior to come back to the center of our life. Jesus has already overcome this life. He’s offering us the same reward He obtained, return to the place at the Father’s right hand.

Lay it all down, lay it all down… lay it all down! Work with the Spirit, Who searches all things, and open each door within your soul and let Him cleanse you.

I just got Penn Clark’s newly published books, Finding Finney and Finding Father Nash. This Second Great Awakening they were part of, the spirit of prayer was heavy. It is said that every grove and field had groups of people praying. You could stand in the area and hear several prayers being lifted all around.

http://www.finney-revival.com

Find a couple of people who want to join in prayer, or maybe there’s a prayer meeting in your area that you can join. Open yourself to the lover of your soul and let go of the things that hold you. Let’s humble ourselves and pray in what God is releasing these days. You have a part in this new era of revival. Humble yourself and He will lift you up into the plans He has for you!

Shalom my dear ones, until we meet again.

The Book of Life?

God asked Robin D. Bullock if he knows what The Book of Life is. Turns out, it’s presumptuous to tell God, “Yes, I do know…” Let us explore what is in the Bible and what God revealed to Robin. I’ll include the Elijah Clips link to his testimony.

The Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:3 is the first mention of the Book of Life. The book of Revelation mentions the Book of Life 7 times! Having studied the Bible extensively, Robin had the same understanding of this book that I had, that it is a book in heaven that we won’t see until we get there. Well, it turns out that’s not what God meant for us to believe.

Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

Here it is: the Bible is the Book of Life! Every person that has ever been created has their name written within its pages. I’m not sure exactly how this works, but it has something to do with the Bible codes, which Robin has studied extensively.

So, we shall be judged by how our works measure up to the Bible, the Word of God. The only way to keep your name in the Book of Life is to be washed by the blood of the Lamb. Surrender to the love of God in Jesus Christ, picking up your cross and applying His blood, is the only way to life, here on earth and in heaven.

Another angle I’m contemplating is my name being in the Bible. I have a certificate from Israel. In Hebrew, my name is Sarah. This means my name is in the Bible. Now I also believe that as I do the things I read in the Bible, things that Jesus and the heroes of the faith did, those Scriptures have my name on them.

Revelation 13:7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Woe to those who think they stand… who stand in their own wisdom and strength, the wisdom of the world. Those who worship the beast, their names will be blotted out; not found in the Book of Life.

Robin’s full interview is posted on Rumble, but here are the YouTube Elijah Clips titles: Robin Bullock, Revelation on the Book of Life/Aug 10 2023. Another clip from the same full episode is: Robin Bullock: Get Ready for a Fake Bible! Aug 10 2023.

What an amazing time to be part of God’s kingdom here on earth, as it is in heaven! Make sure you are connected to the God of the universe through a relationship with Christ Jesus. As the Moravians say, “The Lamb has conquered, let us follow.” I leave you with this amazing cloud formation. Shalom, my dear readers!
