This has been a busy week with family, friends and loved ones. I’ve been picking blueberries and Tuesday found if I pick two pails of berries for the winery, I get to keep a third I fill for myself for payment. Good thing the motel is not busy this week; I’ve finally got time for my 8 year old granddaughter Nataleigh to spend a long weekend with me. She just did a great job in her first show with the Super Stage summer program at Lowville Central School: Madagascar Jr. I’m so thankful for the things they offer for elementary students in the summer. My publisher just gave me another book to edit, so I’ll try and remember to let you know when this one’s published; it’s a novel based on the author’s life in Pittsburgh during the race riots. This posting is late because the berries and my own garden are demanding attention and I’m so glad my granddaughter is here to help today. Tomorrow we’ll go to Henderson Heritage Day at the Historical Society grounds. After that, our Life Group from church is having a BBQ get-together.
