Good things come to those who do what is right. Joy comes to those whose hearts are honest.

My original publishing

Dear readers, I was scheduled to do an author interview with my original publisher, Sabrina Adams of Zoe Life Communications, in December of 2022. The original publishing plans went by the wayside when she went through cancer treatments, and I went on my mission trip to Kenya in February of 2023 just before the proof reading of Musings Along Life’s Journey

I will give some details of this time in my second book, Musings Along A Publishing Journey, so stay tuned.

This all leads up to a woman I met on LinkedIn, Michelle Dennis Evans.  [MDE]        You can find her at: michelledennisevans.com

Michelle has a podcast and a YouTube channel. She told me my interview will start as a video, then be converted to a podcast.  over the past year or so, I’ve had numerous people offer to do a video interview for me… at a cost. I checked out some of these interviewers, but none of them seemed right and prices seemed unmanageable.

I checked out MDE’s interview with another Christian writer and she was very good at doing an interesting, true interview job. I realise a worker is worth their pay, but I made it clear that I cannot pay any money right now.

She offered to do it for me at no cost.? Truly? Yes!  “All it will cost is your time,” she said.

Humility

The interview was not easy, of course. I ended up sitting on my bathroom floor, facing the toilet, with towels behind me in order to have light behind my laptop & quiet.. A bit awkward, not the best for a relaxed conversation.

Forgive me, I misspoke and said my 1st interview should have been in 2024 instead of 2022. Of course, the closed captioning, as usual, did a good job of mis-transcribing some things that I did say, as well as my own brain blips.  Can anyone say, “Humbling is good”?  Let me know if you have questions!

* May the LORD richly bless and prosper Michelle’s ministry for the grace she has shown me. Shalom
