Building on a Solid Foundation
Matthew 7:23-27 NLT –
24 “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. 25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock.
26 But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. 27 When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.
True Hearing
We are in the time the Bible talks about; so much information available! People hurrying from place to place…

Hearing?
With all these video clips, there’s much hearing going on, but not much comprehending. Much hearing, but not much chance to act on what we’re hearing.
Scripture
Where do we turn to find truth that’s stood the test of time? How about Holy Spirit-inspired words contained in the Book that Father God has blessed us with? He gave us a manual to guide us in the way that leads to life. The Holy Bible, best selling book of all time!
Obedience
Radical obedience is the way to live this life. Look to Jesus Christ for the grace to walk with him each day. It’s all about Him, his glory and fame.
Romans 12:1-2 NKJV – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God
Your Body?
1 Corinthians 6:19 NKJV …do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
This is the deep meaning of not just hearing, but doing- acting -on what you’re hearing.. Logos, Rhema word, or spoken into your soul.
Bought At A Price
1 Corinthians 6:20 NKJV – For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Radical Obedience
So, glorify Father God in your body and spirit. Radically move ahead to complete what the Lord places before you to do. When you’re in tune with our Savior, it is He that causes you to want to do the will of God.
